Trish Jackson: Is there an Animal Takeover in our town?

She believes Big Chicken, Creature of the Night from a time back in front of Grimsley's Jewelry, are somehow interrelated. Inquiry of relevance to science and Varmintological and Homeland Security Research because of Octoberish weather, Halloween coming on, and the fact that many or two law agencies here are well trained in the use of night observation equipment, but haven't had the opportunity to put it to real good use after going to Washington, DC. to get training on it. -CM

Personal opinion commentary special to CM

I don't know what's happening in this town, what with all the chicken sightings and stuff.

I didn't want to relive this, but I brought out a photo (see linked evidentiary exhibit) that we shot a year or so ago. I will not venture to guess what it is exactly; all I know is we captured this picture late one night on the Square.

Shortly after that, we received messages via graffiti on our garage door: "DESTROY THOSE PICTURES - OR ELSE!!"

I did, however, keep one, locked away, and haven't brought it out until just now, because I truly believe the Big Chicken sighting and this creature are somehow related to some kind of animal takeover in our town. -TRISH JACKSON.

If any reader can offer elucidation, please spread some light on this issue: Is there some kind of animal takeover in our town? -CM

What's going on here? Are animals taking over Columbia, KY?

2011-10-08 - 102-104 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Trish Jackson.
Trish Jackson shot this photo a long time ago, and wonders if the sighting of the furtive creature here might somehow be related to the Big Chicken excitement now gripping Columbia. She wonders, out loud, whether there is an Animal Takeover of Our Quiet, Peaceful Little Town.
