Peg Schaeffer: CBS Video shows difference pet photos make

Comments re article 46994: BJ Fudge says CM policy on Animal Adoption vindicated by CBSPeg Schaeffer writes:
Just watched the program and couldn't get over what a difference in the dogs' pictures. My biggest problem taking pictures is the delay in the digital cameras. Seems like I might have the greatest picture, but by the time it clicks the Kodak moment is gone. - Peg Schaeffer
Thanks. We think you are doing great, as the accompanying photo of Vinnie illustrates and which the photo sent by sisters Marsha Walker/Vicki Miller epitomizes (Precious Puppies). Of course, we can all learn together how to get those friendly dog photos which will get the animals into good Forever Homes: those photos which mirror the bond between the dog - which tends to love humans more than its own kind - and its keeper/photographer. You don't have to be a genius to see that relationship in the animals' eyes. In fact, one day forensics may use animal photographs to support animal mistreatment cases. You can look in the pet's eyes and see whether the photo was taken by one who loved the animal or not. Together, using good photography, we can make 100% adoption a reality. -ED WAGGENER
