The Adair Marching Band came home last night from their first contest of the season, the Eagle Classic, at Eastern High School, Louisville KY with the following awards:

Class Awards
  • 1st place AAA
  • Best ColorGuard AAA
  • Best Percussion AAA
Finals - Overall Awards
  • Best Overall Music
  • Best Overall Guard
  • Grand Champions
There were a total of 15 bands competing in yesterday's Eagle Classic, with the top 10 performing and competing in finals regardless of class.

We are extremely proud of them! They will be competing at BOA Regional's next weekend in Richmond Kentucky. This will be a very competitive contest with 11 state champions from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee, all from different classes, competing for class titles as well as Grand Champion, the highest award at any competition.. Adair will be competing in Class AA and for a spot in finals. -SHAMARIE CLAIBORNE AdairBand.com
