Driver airlifted following accident on Burkesville Road

Injured driver of GEO Tracker, Timothy R. Morris, 49, Breeding, KY, taken to Westlake Regional Hospital, then flown to UL hospital. Crash investigated by CPD Sergeant Jr. Murphy

Columbia Police responded to an injury accident on Sunday, September 11, 2011 on Burkesville Road, in Columbia. The accident occurred when a 1991 Geo Tracker being operated by Timothy R. Morris, 49, of Breeding left the roadway and over corrected while re-entering traffic and overturned in the roadway. Morris was ejected from the vehicle and no seat belts were in use. Morris was transported by Adair County EMS to Westlake Regional Hospital and then flown to the University of Louisville hospital. The accident was investigated by CPD Sergeant Jr. Murphy. -COLUMBIA POLICE DEPARTMENT, 116 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY
