Our schools: Why don't all the kids have laptops? 'Losing a generation to a POOR education will be paid back in low incomes for many years.' -GERALD DOSS Gerald Doss writes to CM: Did you even notice that in schools in other places, each student has their own lap top? Wonder what they do about the money for those things? We must have forgotten about the wiring in one of our schools not being adequate for all to be on a computer and about the roof leaking and we voted down A very small tax increase to help our children get a better education. Losing a generation to a POOR education will be paid back in low incomes for many years. Seems like a book or lack thereof is just the tip of the iceberg. -GERALD DOSS This story was posted on 2011-09-11 04:56:13
