Garnett Sneed, 67, of Greensburg, KY formerly of Columbia, KY, died early Saturday morning, July 30, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Greensburg after an illness.

Funeral services Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 210 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. David Withers officiating. Burial will be in Tarter-Richards Cemetery in Gradyville, KY. Visitation after 5pmCT, Monday, August 1, 2011.



Garnett Sneed, Adair Co., KY native (1943-2011)

He was born in Adair Co., KY, on Tuesday, October 26, 1943. He was the son of the late Dennis and Fannis Lee Montgomery Sneed. He died Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 4 days.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Madyline Perkins and Mary Francis Parrott.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two children: Gary "Tiny" Sneed of Columbia and Joyce Kelly of Campbellsville, KY

  • One special cousin: James "Cotton" Sneed and wife, Helen of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren

  • And one great grandchild

  • Several other relatives and friends
