Parents, City need to act to stop unsafe skateboarding Rebecca Grant writes: Earlier today I was in Columbia and saw two young men on skateboards. I am not against skateboards but these two should choose some place better than the street in front of McDonald's and Pizza Hut. While they did get out of the street when they saw/heard my vehicle, it scared me because someone else could not have been watching. Please Columbia, find a place, fix a place for the kids to ride the skateboards in safety situations. And in the meantime, parents talk to your children regarding safety issues. -Rebecca GrantHave a comment on this? To submit on CM, click on Contact/Submit This story was posted on 2011-07-22 12:01:30
