By Kiersten Jaggers
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Bowling Green, KY

BOWLING GREEN, KY (2011-06-15) - Crews have finished the bridge approach resurfacing work at Barren River, Porter Pike and Exit 28 (Corvette Museum) between mile markers 26-28.

Weather permitting, work will continue this evening for the next section between mile markers 34-36 and will include the bridges at Carl Jordan and US 68 as well as the northbound approach for the weigh in motion scales south of Smiths Grove.

Lane closures will be used for this work and will be in place between 8 pm and 6 am for tonight and Thursday night only. Any remaining work that is not finished due to weather will be completed next week.

Motorists should be prepared for slow moving traffic and reduce their speed accordingly while driving through this work zone.
