Ferguson, KY man arrested in semi theft case Alleged heist included approximately $35,000 worth of Farm Gates. With help of Casey County Sheriff's Department, all stolen property located, recovered and returned. Daniel S. Thurman, 32, Ferguson, KY, lodged in Casey Co., KY, Jail, charged with theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CASEY CO., KY - On Sunday June 12th, Kentucky State Police in Columbia received a complaint of a stolen semi trailer loaded with approximately $35,000 of farm gates. Through investigation Trooper Adam Likins, along with the Casey County Sheriff's Department, located, recovered and returned all stolen property. Trooper Likins arrested 32 year old Daniel S. Thurman, of Ferguson KY, and charged him with theft by unlawful taking farm equipment over $10,000. Total estimated value of equipment and semi trailer is over $45,000. Thurman was lodged in the Casey County Jail. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Likins.
