Successful ACHS Golf Boosters Scramble has 59 participants

We would like to thank all those people who endured extreme temperatures to participate in this year's tournament, 2011 ACHS Golf Boosters Scramble, held today, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. We had 59 participants and numerous other golf supporters who dropped by just to make a donation. We even had participants who donated their winnings back.

The winners in events were:


  • 1st place: Dave Powell, Doug Kerr, Barry Myers, Ivan Tucker, Marvin Calhoun.
  • 2nd place: Byron Smith, Scott Trotter, Terry Harvey, Kyle Burton, Colby Robertson
  • 3rd place: Ken Blair, Anthony Janes, Rhonda Atwell, Enos McInteer
  • Closest to the pin #3: Kennedy McFarland
  • Closest to the pin #8: Colby Robertson
  • Closest to the pin #11: Dr. Ronald Rogers
  • Closest to the pin #15: Cam Love
  • Longest Drive #18: Leslie Roy
We could not pull this off without the tremendous support we receive from this community. Coach Burton and I would also like to thank the parents, grandparents, other relatives and our players for the job they do in raising money, working the tournament, and making it a pleasure to coach these teams.
