Bobby Pelston took special interest in the kids

Caring bus driver kept children's letters and pictures through the years, writer says
Paula Pyles writes:
Bobby always cared about the kids on his bus. He made them mind and tried to keep them safe. He kept a scrapbook with all the letters and pictures that the kids would give him every year. I was married to him when he became a bus driver. He thought a lot of the kids on his bus and watched them grow up over the years.

I am married to Jeff Pyles now, and his son, Kenny, rode Bobby's bus. He saved pictures that Kenny had drawn. He let me borrow them to show Kenny that he still had them. I think he kept pictures and letters through all the years that he drove. -Paula
