Recurrent events have been posted and updated for June and July, 2011. If your organization's events are not in Events, please send as soon as possible to get the greatest impact for your event.

This is a special time of the year, with fairs, homecomings, picnics, church events, and outdoor events. Community Events listings are especially important for tourists, and for organizations seeking to maintain attendance and interest when the sunshine, gentle summer breezes, and lakes and streams are calling.

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful response we've gotten to appeals to submit Events in our format. We especially appreciate the help of the members of the Adair County Ministerial Association, public officials, and schools and institutions. And of course, we appreciate those public minded advertisers and supporters without whom could not be possible.
