Mr. Delmer Roy of the Gosser Ridge community was also a prisoner of war in WWII. He is still an active member of his community. God bless Mr. Roy and Mr. Holt for their service. -Rita Johnson
Thanks so much. And if there should be others besides Mr. Delmer Roy, we would like to note that, too. Thanks to "Anon," we do have this word, on Mr. Delmer Roy and a word of thanks to Rita Johnson: "A tip of the hat to Ms. Johnson for noting my error of omission in the Russell Co., KY, POWs. Mr. Roy entered military service in early August, 1942, about three weeks before his 21st birthday, and was held POW at Stalag 4B Muhlberg Sachsen.""ANON." -EW
