Ashley Rainey jersey is hung in Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN

LWC Women's Basketball Star from Bowling Green, KY, is only a sophomore, but already, she's an NAIA All-American and continues to gain national attention

After a banner sophomore campaign, Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball student-athlete Ashley Rainey's jersey has been put on display in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame's Ring of Honor in Knoxville, TN., in recognition of her outstanding play during the 2010-11 season.



The Ring of Honor has become one of the most popular exhibits at the Hall of Fame, allowing fans of all ages from all over the world to recognize the accomplishments of some young basketball players for their achievement in the sport.

Rainey joins an elite group of over 100 jerseys that will hang in the ring that includes high school and college All-Americans from the 2010-11 season.

Lindsey Wilson finished 24-9 this season after losing in the second round of the NAIA National Championship. Rainey paced the Blue Raiders with 21.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game to earn a spot on the NAIA All-American First Team.
