He was a member of a respected Green Co., KY, family with deep roots also in Adair Co., KY. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He had retired after 32 years with Pillsbury as a line worker. His final resting place on earth is in his native Adair Co., KY

Mr. Clarence R. Clark, 84 years, departed this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Green Co., KY.



Graveside services for Mr. Clarence R. Clark were held Friday, April 29, 2011, at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 102 Mt. Carmel Cemetery RD, in Adair County, KY.

Mr. Clarence R. Clark was the son of the late Edward Clark and Lena McFarland Clark. He was born on September 30, 1926 in Adair Co., KY and departed this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Green Co., KY, at the age of 84 years, 6 months, and 28 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was retired after 32 years with Pillsbury as a line worker. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and two daughters: Maurice "Mo" Clark of Campbellsville, KY; Wendell Clark of Green Co., KY; Glenda Clark and Linda Clark both of New Albany, IN

  • Three grandchildren: Christopher Clark, Nathan Clark and Brooklyn Franklin

  • A brother: Earl Clark of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
