One injured in auto crash in Russell Springs, KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY - Trooper Kenny Perkins is investigating a collision that occurred at 3:45pmCT, today, Saturday, April 23, 2011, on KY 1680 and Bernard Ridge RD, Russell Springs, KY. Triva Curtsinger, age 77, of Jamestown, KY was making a left hand turn onto Bernard Ridge Rd when she pulled into the path of Linda Church, age 37 of Russell Springs, KY, operating a 2002 Dodge Neon. Church swerved to miss Curtsinger and struck a ditch. Church was not belted and was transported to Russell County Hospital by Russell County EMS. Curtsinger's vehicle was not struck and she was not injured. Trooper Perkins was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Greg Brown, Russell County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
