COLUMBIA, KY - Leadership and integrity will be the topic of an upcoming talk at Lindsey Wilson College. The talk, by leadership experts Ron Glosser and Brenda Smith, will deal with leading with integrity in an age of conflicting values.

The talk will be at 8amCT on Tuesday, April 26, KY in the Lindsey Wilson Norma & Glen Hodge Center, for Discipleship, 402 Helen Flatt DR, Columbia, KY. The talk is free and open to the public and will include a complimentary continental breakfast reception.

"This talk will be an excellent opportunity for anyone in a leadership position -- whether they lead an organization, manage people or work with volunteers," said LWC Vice President for Educational Outreach and Student Financial Services Denise Fudge, who is chair of the event. "Ron Glosser and Brenda Smith are incredible, dynamic speakers, and they have a tremendous amount of experience studying leadership. This will be a wonderful event for our community."

Glosser has been involved in numerous charitable activities since he retired from a successful career in the banking industry. He is vice chairman of Guideposts magazine, and he sits on the board of several organizations. He is past president of the Ohio Bankers Association, and he is a board member of the Rev. Lloyd Ogilvie's television ministry.

Smith is the daughter of the late Fred Smith Sr., who wrote the best-selling leadership book Breakfast with Fred, which has been turned into the popular leadership resource website www.breakfastwithfred.com.

During his lifetime, Fred Smith received hundreds of accolades and achievement awards for his contributions to business and ministry. In 2007, Christianity Today International established the Fred Smith Leadership Award, given to an individual who exemplifies the combination of business acumen and active Christian faith.

The April 26, 2011, talk is part of the Fred Smith Sr. Leadership Symposium: Live, Learn Lead, a three-day leadership event co-sponsored by Lindsey Wilson and Breakfast with Fred. Lindsey Wilson is one of two U.S. colleges selected this year to host the leadership symposium.

The April 25-27, 2011, symposium will also feature several small-group meetings between students and leadership experts. Some of the speakers scheduled to meet with students include: Glosser; Smith; Bill Glass, former professional football player and founder of Bill Glass Champions for Life; Pat Walters, former professional golfer; and Harold Myra, CEO of Christianity Today International.
