Post 15 will help with prescription drug take-back, April 30, 2011 Starts at 10amCT, Saturday, April 30, 2011, at KSP Post 15, 1118 Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - On April 30, 2011, the Kentucky State Police along with the DEA will participate in a national prescription take-back initiative to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from our communities. Post 15 will accept expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs, non-controlled and over the counter substances from local citizens from 10am to 2pmCT, on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Kentucky State Police Post 15, 1118 Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY. Intra-venous solutions, injectibles and syringes will not be accepted. This one day effort will bring national focus to the issue of pharmaceutical controlled substance abuse. Post 15 services Washington, Marion, Taylor, Green, Adair, Casey, Russell, Metcalfe, Monroe, Clinton and Cumberland Counties.
