LWC honors 33 faculty, staff for 353 years service to college

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College community honored 33 faculty and staff members on Wednesday night, April 13, 2011, at the annual LWC Employee Appreciation and Awards Dinner, held in the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center.

Combined, the employees have given a total of 353 years of service to the college. LWC employs a total of 362 full-time faculty and staff, up from 202 full-time faculty and staff 10 years ago.



Honored for five years of service to LWC were:
  • Assistant Professor of Counseling Holly Abel
  • Financial Aid Counselor, Work Study Coordinator Kimberly Bryant
  • Director of Alumni Relations Randy Burns
  • Director of the Lindsey Wilson Fund Brady Button
  • Bookstore Manager Amy Cooper
  • custodian Marlene Dauch
  • Network Administrator Kevin Duncan
  • School of Professional Counseling Administrative Assistant Tonya Dunn
  • Freshman Advisor Jennifer Furkin
  • Athletic trainer Laurie E. Gerber
  • baker Cathy Grant
  • cross country and track & field coach Edwin D. Hagans
  • custodian Jodi Irvin
  • Director of Career Services Danielle Oldham
  • Bluegrass Community and Technical College Coordinator Stacy Springston
  • Assistant Professor of Counseling and Human Development Martin C. Wesley
  • Director of Counseling Services Curtis Wiseley

Honored for 20 years of service to LWC were:
  • Dining Services Manager Tammy Adamson
  • salad bar/server Betty Rogers
  • vehicle maintenance coordinator Barry White.
Honored for 30 years of service to LWC was
  • Professor of Music Robert Reynolds
Honored for 40 years of service to LWC was
  • Maintenance worker Garry Coomer.
Three LWC employees were recognized because they are all retiring at the end of the school year: Burton, Rogers and Dining Services Administrative Assistant Martha Corbin.
