Courthouse makes Columbia a great place to come home to Alice Smith Robinson writes: Just want to comment on this article. The Old Courthouse is a beautiful landmark. My father was one of those men who loved to sit around and whittle and talk to all of his wonderful friends/ I think he knew everyone in town - just to name a few: Frank Nell, Joe Dudley, Joe England, Bob White, Hallie Stullis and many more. I was in Columbia for a week just a week ago, spending time with my mom, who is in the nursing home there, and with the rest of the family. What wonderful memories. My father is gone now, but I will never forget the old courthouse. It makes Columbia a great place to come home to. -Alice Smith RobinsonComments re article 43546 Fond memories of the old courthouse whittlers and folks past This story was posted on 2011-04-09 06:23:37
