2011-04-05 - Photo by Linda Waggener.

Scenic Adair Co., KY: Downtown Redbuds in bloom

2011-04-06 - 300 Quadrant, Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Redbuds planted a few years ago and new Welcome banners are brightening downtown Columbia this week. Increasing numbers of redbuds are seen each spring thanks to special plantings and redbud giveaways. There will be another one, with a very limited number of seedlings, at 10amCT, Friday, April 8, 2011, at the Chamber Building, 201 Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY. This photo was taken Wednesday morning, April 6, 2011, in midmorning. By the way, B.J. Fudge says he's tried it, that sprinkling redbud flower petals on one's salad it much beter.
