CPD arrests woman alleged to have promoted contraband at jail Police say the woman was ostensibly bringing Bible to inmate, and upon search, contraband drugs were found On Friday, March 25, 2011, a Burkesville, KY woman was arrested after trying to get meth to an jail inmate in Columbia, KY. Teresa Garner, age 46, was charged with promoting contraband and possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. According to police, Garner had brought a male inmate a Bible and upon search the substance was found. The arrest was made by Columbia Police Department officer Bruce McCloud, who was assisted by CPD officer John Dial. This story was posted on 2011-03-29 10:27:43
