Remembering Sgt. Ray: He had friends with Adair Co., KY ties

About: KY flags at halfstaff February 20, 2010

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

The service for Sgt. Adam Ray will be at Okolona Christian Church, 10801 Faithful Way, Louisville KY. Sgt. Ray's family have many friends with Adair Co., KY ties. Our youngest daughter was in his youth group at Okolona Christian Church, when they were growing up. He was a fine young man who died a hero for his country.

s/Kenneth Neat

Thanks for the correction and the reminder of the connection to Adair County. The change in address in the original article has also been changed for the funeral address. As is the custom, Adair County is also flying flags at half-staff today in memory of Sgt. Adam Ray, at the order of Adair Co. Judge Executive Ann Melton. -EW
