Stivers says that Chamber not behind advertising calls

The Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce has been notified by a local business that they received a phone call from a lady named Amanda from Dallas, TX asking for an ad for the Sheriff's Department and our local Chamber of Commerce.

This is to inform all businesses that the Chamber has not been contacted and knows nothing about such an ad. All businesses are encouraged to say "No" if called and to find out the name of the company, get a phone number and any other information that you can get from them.
