Three Devildogs added to Adair County Veteran's List

Adair County Veterans' List

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I was looking at the Adair County Veterans list and noticed that three "Devildogs" were missing from the list.
  • Sheldon Alley, U.S. Marine Corps
  • Jason Scott Harris, U.S. Marine Corps
  • Dustin Harris, U.S. Marine Corps
Just wanted to share their names with the readers and reinforce the statement of "Once a Marine, Always a Marine."

Sheldon is my husband and he has been out for 8 years, but he is still proud to be a Marine.

The other two are childhood friends of his that we see occasionally and believe me they are forever Marines

No matter where we are at, they unashamedly shout to each other, "Hey Devildog!"

They still talk to each other about the Marine Corps as if they are packing their seabags and going to war, even though they have not been on active duty for several years now.

Sheldon and I are so thankful for the dedication and service given to our nation from all the Veterans from each branch of service from Adair County.

We are also thankful for those who are currently serving and will be the next generation of Veterans.

We pray for their safe return home and that peace may be found and love would prevail in the world. We are so proud of our local men and women serving during this difficult time in our nation and want them and their families to know that we are praying for them always.

In His Service,s/Amanda Alley
