Wayne Kirby, Ron Devore send reminder of Red Skelton Pledge

Wayne Kirby, Breeding, KY, and Ron Devore, Edmonton, KY, have submitted a link to a You Tube video of Red Shelton's "Pledge of Allegiance."

Wayne Kirby wrote, "I think this is so cool. Red was an icon for all of us in our age group. Thank you, Red."

Ron Devore added, "Listening to Red reciting The Pledge Of Allegiance as only he could, makes one stand a little taller, pull our shoulders back more and hold our stomachs in and be proud of who we are and what we stand for. Is my hope that each member of our DAV and VFW can and will stand a little taller and be proud of our sevice to this great nation."

Ron DeVore is a member of VFW Post 6281 Metcalfe KY, a Korean War Vet, and POW.
