Deadline for JHG Fiction Contest Mar. 3, 2007 Winning fiction will be published in Arts Across Kentucky. Winner receives $500 The deadline for the 2007 Janice Holt Giles Second Annual Short Fiction Prize contest is March 1, 2007. The writing contest is jointly sponsored by the Janice Holt Giles Society and Arts Across Kentucky magazine. It is the only fiction prize in honor of the famous Adair County author. The winner of the Janice Holt Giles Short Fiction Prize will receive $500 and the winning short story will be published in Arts Across Kentucky. Eligibility: The contest is open to all fiction writers, but only one original unpublished short story in English may be submitted. Any subject matter or writing style is welcome. The winning story must be suitable for a general audience. The manuscript format:
