The Green River Bee Keepers Assocation met Saturday, April 22, at the home of Stanley and Shirley Jones on Kellyville Road in Adair County.

A total of 35 attended including members, family and guests with some traveling from as far as Oldham County.

President Steve Hinton presided over the discussion of bee operations and the entering of contests at the Kentucky State Fair in August.

Everyone enjoyed a great meal and appreciate the efforts of Mr. and Mrs. Jones for hosting this month's meeting.

Meetings of The Green River Bee Keepers Assocation are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Taylor County Extension Office, 1143 South Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville.

Anyone interested in obtaining more information may contact the Taylor County Extension Office at 270-465-4511.
