Robert G. Shanklin, 90, Columbia, KY (1936-2026) Robert Glenn Shanklin of Columbia died on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton. He was 90 years old. Visitation is requested from 11amCT to 1pmCT on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. A graveside service will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, with Brandon Nokes officiating. He was born January 23, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Lynwood and Clara Marie Keys Shanklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June Shanklin in 2023. Bob was a devoted Christian with a profound love of sharing his knowledge of the teachings of the Bible and God's word. He was a retired Pastor, Sunday School Teacher and also retired from working as an auto body repairman. He loved playing his guitar and singing gospel and bluegrass music. He was an incredibly talented painter. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Survivors include:
