Artist Jeanie Edwards speaking on June 8 From Trey Stephens City of Columbia | Assistant to the Mayor Renowned artist Jeanie Edwards will give a public lecture at 11amCT on Monday, June 8, 2026, in the Katie Murrell Library at Lindsey Wilson University. The lecture will be attended by high school art students from Adair, Green, and Taylor Counties as well as Lindsey Wilson art students. Edwards, based in Appalachian North Carolina, is one of the premier wildlife artists in the South. Her work is currently on display at Lindsey Wilson University, and more information on her and her work can be found at www.jedwardsfineart.com. City of Columbia officials will make a presentation to Edwards at the event. The public is invited, and the Cranmer Dining Center will be open for lunch following the lecture.
