Columbia-Adair EDA to meet May 27

The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority Board will hold a special called meeting at 5pmCT on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Welcome and Development Center, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Meeting Agenda:


  • Call to Order

  • Welcome Guests - Roll Call - Determination of Quorum

  • Opening Prayer & Pledge of Allegiance

  • Business
    • 1. Discuss KPDI grant for Spec building in GRCP, timelines and deadlines

    • 2. Approval of Engagement Letter with MSE of Kentucky, Inc. for architectural services for proposed spec building in GRCP and authorize CACEDA chairman to sign the agreement

    • 3. Authorize CACEDA chairman to enter into discussion with Bank of Columbia regarding a Line of Credit for construction of spec building in GRCP

    • 4. Authorize CACEDA chairman to approach Adair Fiscal Court & City of Columbia to request each entity to consider including $5000 in their budgets towards local match

  • Motion to Adjourn
The next regular meeting is scheduled for June 17, 2026.
