Florence I. Lovensheimer, 93, Columbia, KY (1932-2026)

Florence Isabelle (Finerty) Lovensheimer Obituary of Columbia died on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was 93 years old.

Ms. Lovensheimer requested cremation. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY.


She was born November 14, 1932, in Lebanon, Kentucky, to the late Ashley Johnson and Flora Rochelle Dunn Finerty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus R. Lovensheimer in 2010.

She was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era and retired from Civil Service.

She is survived by her family, Bernie and Debbie Dunn of Columbia, Barry & Leslie Dunn of PeeWee Valley, Chaz Dunn of Chicago and Brittyne and Chad Finkenbiner of Crestwood.
