Lillie Carol Owens, 78, Casey County, KY

Lillie Carol Owens, age 78, of, Liberty, KY, passed away on May 22, 2026. She was born April 4th, 1948, in Adair County, KY, a daughter of the late James Welby Propes and Mary Francis Bryant Brackett. She was a former machine operator at Bay West.

Survivors include: one son: Jeffrey Phillip Owens of Dunnville, one daughter: Pamela Carole Woodrum of Knifley, two step children: Glenda Brummett of Harrodsburg and Tina Dennis of Berea, four grandchildren: Allison, Katelynn, Emilee and Jayson, three step grandchildren: Andrew, Dylan and Savannah, two great grandchildren: Aubrey and Avery, four step great grandchildren: Bella, Owen, Ryverlyn and Hudson, one sister: Neva Woods and her companion: Glen Price.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was one grandchild: Seth, one brother: J.R. Propes and two sisters: Sharon Lee and Margie Lay.

Visitation will be held 11amET Wednesday May 27, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2pmET Wednesday. Bro. Kevin Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
