Titus Lee Carey, age 81, Taylor County, KY Titus Lee Carey age 81 of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Titus was also known as "Tigerman" and "Tike." He was born on August 16, 1944 in Cumberland County, KY to the late proud Glen Carey and Golda Faye Grider Carey. He was the oldest of twelve boys. Titus Lee has been a hard worker until he retired. He was a former sawmill worker and operator, a farmer, and livestock workman for many years. He loved fishing, listening to and playing music, dancing, playing cards, gardening, and traveling. When he found time, he would watch westerns...Old cowboy shows. Most of all, he really enjoyed being around his family and friends who he cherished. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers: Phillip Carey, Terry Carey, O. C. Carey, Ray Carey, and Dwight Carey, three sisters: Marie Phelps, Nettie Jewell Carey, and Priscilla Alexander; and one grandson Geron Brown, Jr. He leaves to mourn his passing: Two Sons- Titus Junior Carey and his fiance Jessica Thomas of Campbellsville, KY and Jason Autry (Carey) of Louisville, KY Two Daughters- Margo Carey of Campbellsville, KY and Aprille Autrey(Carey) of Louisville, KY Seven Grandchildren- Kisha Carey and fiance Bradley Watson, Martisha Carey and fiance Chyenne Hoots, Zairy Carey, Tashaun Hoskins, Treasure, Jayzen, and Zegan Autry Six Great Grandchildren Three Brothers- Carl David Carey and Charles Carey both of Burkesville, KY and Joe Carey of Somerset, KY One Sister- Amy Crimaldi and husband Michael of Matteson, Illinois Caregiver- Madelyn Wright of Greensburg, KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery.
