Elizabeth Despain, 90, Taylor County, KY Elizabeth Despain of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Albert Skaggs and Bernice Beard Skaggs, was born September 23, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Campbellsville at age 90. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Taylors Chapel Methodist Church. Elizabeth was a retired dairy farmer. She united in marriage to Harold Keith Despain September 30, 1955 and he preceded her in death November 19, 1997. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was proud of her work as a dairy farmer but also worked in tobacco and with flowers. She enjoyed fishing and using her four-wheeler to get around. Elizabeth is survived by two sons: Roger Despain and wife, Susan and Kevin Despain and wife, Melinda of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Carrie Despain, Kaitlin Despain and husband, Franco Perez, Tanner James and wife, Michelle, Brandon Humphries and wife, Sondra and Tara Wallace; six great-grandchildren: Lena James, Dalton Cox and wife, Kyndal, Landon Cox, Tatum Caulk, Traxton Wallace and Izabella Brend; two brothers: Bill Skaggs and Donald Skaggs and wife, Barbara of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Elizabeth was also proceeded in death by a brother: Larry Skaggs. FUNERAL SERVICE: 11amET Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
