Watch for Emmy Gonzalez in Special Op: Rent-A-Cop Adair County resident Emelita T. Gonzalez plays Ling Mah in director William Butler's latest action/comedy, Special Op: Rent-A-Cop, available to rent or buy digitally on April 14, 2026. The movie, which was was filmed in Louisville in December 2024, stars Billy Zane, Michael Jai White, and Colleen Camp. The story follows former Special Ops agent Belfry (Michael Jai White) as he escorts seniors on a Vegas trip, unaware his enemies plan to eliminate him during the journey. When he realizes the danger, a battle of wits ensues to protect the oblivious elderly travelers. Emmy Gonzaleze, who moved to Columbia from Atlanta, GA in 2019, has worked as actor or stuntperson on a number of movie projects dating back to 2016, including many projects with boyfriend Don Overstreet.
