County Solid Waste Coordinator says clean up in county has been slowed by rainy weather, too.
The community wide clean-up,has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 29, 2006, the coordinator of the event, Carolyn Edwards, has announced.

The event had been earlier planned for Saturday, April 22, 2006, she said.

Ms. Edwards said that the rescheduling was due to the rainy weather expected April 22.

Those wishing to volunteer should contact City Clerk Carolyn Edwards at City Hall, 270-384-2501, during regular office hours during the week of April 24-28.

County effort slowed, too

"We're way behind," he said. But he added that he expects workers to take advantage of sunny days ahead to catch up.
