Letter: Calendar photo brings back memories

Gracie (Antle) Ross writes:
Always looking for family connections...I came across the calendar from 1953, given out by Sam Aaron General store in Glens Fork, KY. Sam was my uncle. We had this same calendar in our house. My family lived in Louisville. On our many trips to the "country", we always stopped to visit Uncle Sam, Uncle Paul, Aunt Jewel and Aunt Nettie.

I loved that store. They kept a supply of everything from eggs to fabric. I am now 82 years old and have lived for many years in Texas. My ancestors are all Adair County and Russell County born and bred. Many cousins are still in the area.

Such fond memories I have of my KENTUCKY home. -Gracie
