Edna Davis, 86, Columbia, KY (1939-2026) Edna Carter Kimbler Davis of Columbia passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton. She was 86 years old. Graveside services will be held at 11amCT on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Freedom Cemetery, 76 Freedom Church Rd., Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9amCT until 10:30amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. She was born on October 3, 1939, in Russell County, KY to the late Clifford Carter and Lola Pettyjohn Carter Shaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Kimbler Sr. and Joe Davis, a son Robert Glenn Kimbler Jr. and a sister. Edna was a member of the Royville Baptist Church in Russell County and enjoyed traveling and being outdoors. Survivors include a son Steve Kimbler of Columbia, KY; two granddaughters Brandi Thomas and Amber Kimbler; a special brother-in-law Jerry Burton of Columbia, KY; several great grandchildren and two sisters.
