Margaret Phillips, 92, Campbellsville, KY Margaret Phillips of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ernest Rogers and Mayme Gaines Rogers, was born August 31, 1933 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 1:05 A.M., Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Campbellsville. Age: 92 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Methodist Church. Margaret united in marriage to James R. Phillps June 14, 1958 and he proceeded her in death July 30, 2000. After working for First Federal Bank, Margaret went on to co-own Phillips Lanes with her husband and enjoyed many years working alongside him. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret is survived by one son and one daughter: Mike Phillips and wife, Shay of Campbellsville and Kim Phillips Bernth and husband, Tom of Naples, Florida; four grandchildren: Cole Smith and husband, Logan and Ashley Turner and husband, Jonathan of Campbellsville, Griffon Bernth and Grace Bernth of Naples, Florida; four great-grandchildren: Barrett Smith, Ada Smith, Ames Turner and Elliot Turner; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Margaret was also preceded in death by eight siblings: Hollis Rogers, Clay Rogers, Paul Rogers, John Shelby Rogers, Richard Rogers, Fannie Belle Sapp, Louise Buck and Cleo Fryback. FUNERAL SERVICE: 1pmET Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Pastor Joe Cox and Eddie Rogers BURIAL: Brookside Cemetery.
