Danny Leon Conner, 79, Russell County, KY

Danny Leon Conner, of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation. He was 79 years of age.

Born on February 12, 1947, on Indian Creek in Russell County, he was a son of the late Wilber and Mary Alice Polston Conner. Danny was a retired construction worker, working for more than 50 years. Danny was a true outdoorsman, enjoying gardening and fishing, just to name a few. Danny accepted Jesus as his Savior and was of the Christian faith.


Danny is survived by his wife, Deborah K. Cooper Conner, of Jamestown; his daughter, Mylah Conner, of Jamestown; his brother, Randell (and Joyce) Conner, of Jamestown; and his sisters, Georgia (and Baker) Carnes, Wilma (and Roger) Carnes, and Mary Malone, all of Jamestown.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his son, Clint Conner; his brother, Glen Conner; and his brother-in-law, Norman Malone.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Jamestown Cemetery, with Brother Roger Garner officiating. Arrangements by Bernard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations of sympathy be made to: God's Food Pantry, P.O. Box 1503, Russell Springs, Kentucky 42642. Donations can also be left at the funeral home.
