Learn about local basketball history in March at AHGRC From Mike Watson The Vintage Valentine Display at the Adair History & Genealogy Research Center was a big hit for patrons and visitors during the month of February. If you didn't see it, come soon, as it will come down before March. March is National Irish-American Heritage Month, so come by to research your Irish ancestors. We have a few print resources and we have Library Ancestry.com that is available everyday. March is Women's History Month! Honor your Mothers by researching the female ancestral lines in your family. Also consider joining Daughters of the American Revolution in this 250 anniversary year. More information available here. March is also the central month for basketball! Come see our display on local basketball history. The Adair County Genealogy and History Research Center is located next door to the Adair County Public Library, at 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.
