A thank you from Donna Rieder Comments re: Letter: Stories/Pictures from Donna Rieder By Donna Rieder I just want to say "thank you" to Vicki Brock and all the others who spoke so kindly about my recent article on CM. Writing and photography are both things I have always enjoyed, and I appreciate CM allowing me to share over the years. I started writing a book years ago and will be offering parts of it on CM soon. In the meantime, anyone who is interested can enjoy all the things that happen on my farm by following my Clifty Creek Farm Facebook page. Spring is always a busy time with gardens to plant, beehives to tend to, and of course, my favorite time of year: Kidding Season! I'm expecting 7 of my does (female goats) to kid beginning in April, and although it can be hectic and stressful, it's also a time of wonder as those brand-new lives enter the world full of energy and curiosity. Goat Yoga, anyone? I'll be offering my annual goat care seminar the first weekend in May, will be offering farm tours by appointment, and hope to be adding more events as infrastructure is completed. And as always, I welcome anyone who wants to work in exchange for learning new skills; there's always something that needs attention, and at 69 years young, I always appreciate a helping hand! Clifty Creek Farm is located at 3190 White Oak Church Rd, Russell Springs, KY. You can reach Donna by email at cliftycreekkikos@aol.com. This story was posted on 2026-02-02 17:05:36
