Adair County Emergency Management to sponsor second Emergency Response class

Class begins Monday, April 17, 2006; seats limited; early sign-up encouraged

Adair County Emergency Management will besponsoring it's second CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Class.

The class starts on Monday, April 17, 2006, and will run for four weeks on every Monday night, lasting for3 1/2 hours to 4 hours each night.


All classes are scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Adair County Annex Basement.

All items needed will be furnished and there is no cost for this class and the classatmosphere is verycomfortable and relaxed.

Adair County residentstaking this class will leave with vital information to assist their self and theirneighbors in the time of a major or minor disaster.

Class space is limited so if you would like to register or If you would like more informationcontactAdair County Emergency Management Director, Greg Thomas at 378-1885. The class will be taught by Jason Rector a Certified CERT trainer for FEMA.
