Eugene R. (Gene) Robinson, 88, Columbia, KY (1937-2025) Eugene Ray "Gene" Robinson of Columbia died on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at TJ Health Columbia. He was 88 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmCT on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton and Dylan Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery, with full military honors presented by V.F.W. Post 6097. Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Saturday. He was born February 17, 1937, in Sparksville, Kentucky, to the late Osby and Myrtle Furkin Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Terry Perkins and two brothers, Elton Robinson and James Elwood Robinson. Gene attended Egypt Christian Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and was a retired construction worker and farmer Survivors include:
