Two treated at hospital following collision with horse

Two occupants of a 2001 Saturn were treated and released after the vehicle struck a horse that had entered the roadway.

The accident occurred 16 miles of Liberty, KY, on KY 243, at five minutes after midnight (0005 HRS), Thursday, April 6, 2006.

Amy L. Lanham, 25, Lebanon, KY, the driver, and a passenger, Marion L. Price, 28, Hustonville, were treated and released at Casey County Hospital. Seatbelts were in use for both occupants.

The accident was investigated by Trooper J. Johnson, Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
