Dec 11 is National Wreaths Across America Day

Frankfort, KY - The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA) is hosting a wreath laying ceremony on December 11, 2025, at the Kentucky Statehouse, Old Capital Building, 300 West Broadway, Frankfort, KY.

There will be a wreath laid for each branch of service and POW/MIA. Governor Beshear will be the keynote speaker. The event will start at 10amET and run until approximately 11amET.


This ceremony is a kickoff ahead of the weekend when wreaths will be laid at veteran's grave markers at each of our five State Veterans Cemeteries and most cemeteries with a veteran section across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
