Natalie will be Grand Marshal of Christmas Parade Honoring the only state president of a student organization from Adair County this year, Natalie Bardin will lead the Christmas Parade in Columbia Saturday By Ellen Zornes, Executive Director, Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce Meet our 2025 Christmas in Columbia Parade Grand Marshal, Natalie Bardin. Natalie is the daughter of Michael Bardin and Rachel Waggener and is an Adair County High School senior, currently serving as the State President for FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). After graduation, she plans to attend the University of Kentucky with a major in Business. Natalie says, "Becoming state president has been an experience I will forever cherish. The memories that have been created, while traveling and representing is something that I will never forget. FBLA is genuinely the best thing that has ever happened to me and I will always say that. It is life changing in all the best ways. I couldn't have done this without the support of my family, friends and most importantly, my community." JR Thompson, Adair County High FBLA advisor, said of Natalie, "We are so proud of Natalie! Her becoming State President was not only a really big deal in her being elected, but also in what all was involved in running for the office. She interviewed with different committees answering a multitude of questions and delivered speeches including her final speech in front of over 10,000 people." The Chamber of Commerce is so proud of Natalie and all her accomplishments. She'll be leading in style in a black Mustang convertible with her FBLA officers and support team right behind her at our Christmas Parade, Saturday evening, December 6, 5pmCT. It's going to be a great one! This story was posted on 2025-12-02 09:55:21
