Frank Hughes, 20, Dunnville, KY

Aaron Michael "Frank" Hughes, of Dunnville, KY passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was 20 years young.

Born December 20, 2004, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of Ralph Michael Hughes of Cincinnati and Sarah May Maynard and Doug Maynard, of Dunnville. Aaron was a 2023 graduate of Casey County High School. He attended Old Regular Baptist Church's around the area. Aaron was a hard worker as a carpenter. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and being on the lake with his friends. Aaron loved anything that was fast and loud, and loved to ride ATVs. He was a "heck of a rooster man", he loved tending to his roosters with his stepfather, Doug.


In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Ethan May of Dunnville; his sisters, Abigail Hughes of Dunnville, Sara Maynard of Pikeville, Hannah (and Logan) Hamm of Dunnville, and Emily (and Noah) Cummings of Jamestown; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Sue Hughes of Cincinnati; maternal grandmother, Kimberly May of Dunnville; grandparents, James and Eileen Maynard, of Dunnville; his cousins, GG Glenn, AJ Glenn, Ty Vaccariello, Nick Hughes and Ally Hughes; special nieces and nephews, Paxton Hamm, Gannon Hamm, Nick and Jonluke; and several aunts and uncles.

Aaron is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry May; great-grandfather, Ralph "Poppy" Leigh; and a cousin, Christian Gage Puttet.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with pastors from the Old Regular Baptist Church's officiating. Burial will follow in Rich Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and from 8 until time-of-service, Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Ethan May, AJ Glenn, GG Glen, Logan Hamm, Jacob Scott and Mitchell Duggins.

In honor of Aaron, his family requests that visitors wear comfortable clothes, blue jeans and/or boots of your choice. "That is what he would want," said his mother, Sarah.
