David Kimbler, 82, Jamestown, KY

David Kimbler, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, November 28, 2025. He was 82 years of age.

Born March 19, 1943, in Russell Springs, he was a son of the late William Byron and Bonnie "Sunshine" Selby Kimbler. David was formerly a Vice-President of Operations for General Mills, working for the company for over 20 years.


He enjoyed golfing and hunting wild game across the United States and Canada. David was a member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Patsy Hudson Kimbler, of Jamestown; daughter, Sherri (and David) Towery, of Newnan, Georgia; son, Patrick (and Leia) Kimbler, of Bowling Green; and four grandchildren, David Parker Towery, William Hudson Towery, Avery Marie Kimbler, and Andrew Patrick Kimbler.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharmel Gray and a brother, Gary Lee Kimbler.

Funeral services are 1pmCT Monday, December 1, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Christian Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 11 until time of services.
